By using our services, visiting our website, or providing us with personal information, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Notice.

What We Collect

We may collect personal and financial information in the course of providing divorce financial analysis services, including:

General Information (e.g., website usage data, browser type, operating system, IP address).

Personal Information (e.g., your name, address, phone number, email address, and other contact details).

Financial Information such as income, expenses, retirement and investment account information, property or business ownership details, liabilities and debts, and other data relevant to divorce financial analysis.

Supporting Documents provided by you (such as court forms, financial affidavits, or marital asset inventories).

Communications such as emails, phone calls, or meeting notes.

Social Media Interactions, such as your public username and the content of a comment you leave on one of our posts. See "Social Media and Automated Messaging" below.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

Deliver divorce financial analysis and related support services.

Prepare financial affidavits, marital asset schedules, and settlement scenarios.

Create financial forecasts and settlement impact analyses.

Communicate with you regarding your engagement.

Meet legal and regulatory requirements.

Protect against fraud and maintain the security of our systems.

How We Share Information

We do not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We may disclose your information only: As required by law, regulation, or court order.

To trusted employees and professional partners who need the information to perform services for you (such as attorneys, mediators, or QDRO specialists).

To comply with professional standards of confidentiality in financial advisory services.

To technology providers that operate parts of our website, scheduling, and social media messaging on our behalf. These providers may only use the information to provide those services to us.

Social Media and Automated Messaging

We maintain business accounts on Instagram and Facebook. On some posts we invite you to comment a keyword in order to receive a specific resource, such as a guide. If you do, an automated system sends that resource to you in a direct message. This is the only situation in which we begin a direct message conversation with you.

To make that work, Meta provides us with the public username of the account that commented, an identifier for the comment, and the text of the comment. We use that information to deliver the resource you asked for and to understand which topics people are asking about. We do not add you to a mailing list on the strength of a comment, we do not sell this information, and we do not merge it into any client file.

Your comment, and any direct message that follows, also remain subject to the privacy policies and data practices of Meta Platforms, which operates Instagram and Facebook and which we do not control.

If you would rather not receive an automated message, simply do not comment the keyword. If you have already received one and would prefer no further contact, reply and say so, or use the tools Instagram and Facebook provide to block or report an account. Either way, you keep full access to everything we publish publicly.

Commenting on a post does not create a client relationship, and nothing delivered by automated message is legal, tax, or investment advice.

Safeguarding Your Information

We maintain reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect your personal and financial information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed toward children under age 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Links to Other Sites

Our website may contain links to third-party sites. Tidal Pointe Advisors is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites.

International Visitors

If you access our services from outside the United States, please note that your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States, where privacy protections may differ from those in your country.

Your Choices

You may choose not to provide certain information, though this may limit our ability to provide services. You may also request to review, update, or correct your personal information at any time.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Notice or how we handle your information, please contact us: Tidal Pointe Advisors Privacy Coordinator Phone: 843-919-0199 Email: info@tidalpointe.com
